Hello JROTC Cadet's Parents, time has passed by so fast that the month of September is almost gone. Your son and daughter has been busy preparing and studying how to be better leaders and responsible cadets; especially, trying to memorize the Cadet Creed. In addition, they have been working so hard on the basic movements, marching, and rank structures. Most of them are being promoted today to be a Private E2 for their efforts and disciplines. Therefore, you should feel proud of their accomplishments.
Even though your son and daughter did not have much time learning how to march, they did so well at the Fiestas Patrias Parade. In addition, the JROTC Picnic was successful event with abundant of hamburgers and hotdogs. Thank you for providing the food. They had fun playing sports and tug war. It was a great opportunity and time for your son and daughter to have a bonding time with others and the battalion staff. We accomplished all of these because of your, parents, supports, and sacrifices. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Alex Galvan for cooking hundreds of hamburgers and hotdogs. Thanks to Ms. Maria Sustaita for setting up and making sure the foods ready to serve the cadets.
On 13 September 2016, we had the Parent Club Meeting. Ms. Patricia Ponce Deleon has volunteered to continue to serve as the JROTC President for this year. Ms. Maria Sustaita has volunteered to serve the JROTC Vice President and Secretary. Thanks to Mr. and Ms. Oscar Rangel for their dedication, commitment, support, and sacrifice of serving as the JROTC Vice President in the past two years. Your labors have made a great difference in the lives of all cadets.
The next Parent Club Meeting will be on 11 October, from 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm. We discuss about the future events and find ways to improve and support your son and daughter better. We know that you have a busy schedule. If you have time, please come! Thank you for your great support!
