Colonel’s Corner

 Hello cadets! We had a great year last year and look forward to an even better year in 2012 to 2013.  It will be a busy semester as always. Last week, our Honor Guard performed at a Quinceanera and the next week cadets helped host LECJ's Freshmen Orientation. "WE HAVE BEGUN!"  We are already scheduled for Fiestas Patrias on September 15th. As usual, we plan to take the entire battalion. So we will have to get in uniform quickly.  Hopefully, all of you have completed your summer reading assignments. We won't have a lot of make-up time.  We must hit the ground running.  District Inspection is November 16th, that is only nine weeks away. We must master the ability to do many different things at the same time, multi-tasking you guys call it. It is a cool word, but we will live it this year. Schedules are out, many of you want changes, but be patient and e-mail your request for changes to the AP.  Check the Important Dates page of the website so we can keep up with our calendar of events. Upper classmen, call and come get your uniform. Welcome back and LECJ ROTC will stay the best!!!!!!!  Again, congruatulate yourself cadets for an outstanding 2011 - 2012.  Any questions, call LTC Martindale at 713-867-5115 or 1SG Widrick at 713-867-5123.
